Dental Receptionist Jobs in Iowa
Perform administrative duties. Dental receptionists are responsible for communicating with clients to schedule/confirm appointments, collect confidential medical information, and arrange payment plans. They must have a strong understanding of all forms that patients are required to complete so that they can answer any questions. They input and maintain information in the organization’s database, making changes and creating new entries as necessary.
Dental receptionists also manage all incoming and outgoing communications. They answer telephone calls and emails quickly and accurately. Outgoing communications are also handled as efficiently as possible, as they contain important, time-sensitive information such as billing statements/payment receipts, completed insurance claim forms, lab work requiring analysis, and patient records.
