Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
• Take x-rays
• Assist with periodontal procedures

Required Skills:

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready

• Assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns)

• Take and process dental x-rays

• Provide chairside assistance and anticipate dentist needs

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Follow all infection control protocols and safety procedures

• Order and monitor dental supplies and inventory

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Open Dental software 
• Experience CEREC and intraoral scanning
• Ability to assist with temporary crowns
• Knowledge of Nitrous Oxide administration
• Expanded Functions certification
