As a dental hygienist in our office, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient base, including those with PPO and private insurances. We focus on delivering optimal oral healthcare while ensuring patient comfort and education throughout the dental experience. Your expertise in skills such as bleaching, gingivitis screening and treatment, periodontal care, and patient education will be valued as you provide individualized care to each patient.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive oral health assessments, including dental charting and x-rays using DEXIS and intraoral cameras.
- Conducting prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and applying chlorhexidine as needed.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and facilitating patient recall to ensure continuity of care.
In our practice, you will typically spend 50 minutes with adult patients and 40 minutes with children, allowing you to establish meaningful connections and focus on delivering personalized care. Enjoy a one-hour lunch break and a dedicated parking lot for your convenience.
