Dental Assistant/RDA

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant/RDA to join our team to provide quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting surfaces
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques

Skills:
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for dental restorations helpful
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Understanding of infection control protocols and proper sterilization techniques

Monday through Thursday 8-5 one hour lunch 12-1
