Treatment Coordinator - Oral Surgery Practice We are an elite oral surgery practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and first-class service to our referring partners. We are seeking a compassionate, outgoing, and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping patients navigate their care.

This role is essential to ensuring a seamless patient experience-from understanding treatment plans to clearly communicating financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Patient Communication Provide exceptional phone and in-person customer service

Clearly communicate treatment options, costs, and payment expectations

Collect payments in a professional and timely manner

Insurance & Billing Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient insurance records

Interpret and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)

Process claims and ensure accurate billing

Treatment Coordination Review and explain treatment plans, including surgical procedures

Translate clinical diagnoses into clear financial and scheduling information

Calculate copays and patient responsibility promptly after exams

Referral Management Review, interpret, and coordinate referrals from general dentists and specialists

Accurately read and process outside treatment information

Operations & Team Collaboration Maintain the provider schedule for optimal efficiency

Partner with clinical staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience

Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting

Professional Standards Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Remain calm, empathetic, and professional during busy periods

Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in a dental or oral surgery practice

Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and CDT codes

Experience with insurance verification, claims, and EOB interpretation

Education High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor

Ability to multitask and work collaboratively across teams

Basic computer and administrative skills

Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
