Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
  • Prepare patients for treatment and ensure a positive patient experience
  • Take digital X-rays, photos, and impressions/scans
  • Change wires, brackets, and other orthodontic appliances as permitted by Oregon regulations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Help keep clinic flow efficient and organized
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive office culture

Qualifications

You will be required to possess the following:

  • Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required
  • Active Oregon dental assisting certifications/licenses required
  • Current radiology/X-ray certification for Oregon
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment
  • Willingness to travel to additional office locations is a plus and may allow for full-time scheduling
