Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Welcome patients, prepare them for treatments, and ensure maximum comfort in the chair.
• Clinical Assisting: Provide highly skilled chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of general dentistry procedures.
• Operatory Prep: Select, set up, and transfer instruments, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Safety & Sterilization: Sterilize dental instruments and strictly maintain infection control protocols in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Post-Op Guidance: Deliver clear oral hygiene education and post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Operations: Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked; maintain accurate electronic patient charts.

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience working as a clinical dental assistant.
• Technical Proficiency: Thorough knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and dental software charting (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix).
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, a warm bedside manner, and strong organization.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Active Radiology and CPR/BLS certifications.
• Coronal polishing and/or Expanded Functions (EFDA) certifications are a major plus.
• Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
