Dental Assistant

In this role, you will support the dentist in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth clinical workflow. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient care, and documentation will help us create healthy, confident smiles every day. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures spanning all aspects of general dentistry including crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, implant placement and restoration, and extractions. Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are followed. Sterilize instruments after use. Take x-rays while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Manage patient records efficiently using OpenDental software, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Occasionally support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments and updating medical documentation as needed. Experience Previous experience working in a dental office as an assistant is required. X-ray certification is required. Previous experience taking digital impressions using iTero digital scanner is helpful but not required. Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures combined with excellent communication skills is preferred.
