We are a small team and a private owner seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join my team. We are a small team with a great atmosphere and incredible patients. Our office is open Monday through Thursday. Schedule is flexible (1 to 4 days available) The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. New graduates and seasoned hygienist are welcome to apply. We're flexible in offering full or part time positions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Take and record vital signs to monitor patient health before procedures. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture necessary diagnostic images. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment. Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system, including Opendental. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and support for general dentistry procedures. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Skills Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems is preferred. Strong understanding of infection control standards and practices within a dental office setting. Knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures. Ability to perform medical imaging techniques effectively. Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health matters. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
