care team to best serve patientsCompetently perform the clinical services of the specialty in which certifiedTreat oral diseases and confer with physicians regarding medicaldental problemsOther duties as assigned by supervisorPatient Experience Serve as a member of the cross functional team of providers engaged in routine and preventive dental care employing four handed dentistryAdvise or instruct patients regarding preventive dental care the causes and treatment of dental problems or oral health care servicesProvide specialty consults and services in area of expertise to patients and dental colleaguesFlexibility in meeting patients needs and able to work evenings and Saturday clinicsUse masks gloves and safety glasses to protect patients and self from infectious diseasesDemonstrate a commitment of excellent patient experience and qualtiy outcomes in equal measureWork and communicate with people from various ethnic socio economic educational and life experience Flexibility in accepting change gracefullyMentorship & Collaboration Serve as a member of a cross functional team of Dentists that provides exceptional patient care and provide mentorship in area of specialty to colleague general dentistsWilling to be credentialed as volunteer faculty for student educational programs hosted by the clinicAttend staff conferences contribute to efforts of practice improvementOffice Management Document clinical and other records regarding services provided supplies and materials used using Electronic Dental Records system according to accepted standardsReport accurately all procedures to billing staff for proper billing to patient or third party payorsSupervise clinical support staff in clinical care including but not limited to standards of care infection control OSHA HIPAA etcOther duties as assigned by supervisorMinimum Job Requirements Knowledge Adherence all ethical and professional standards including but not limited to OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen The role is most suited to a prosthodontist with 1 2 years of experience in general dentistry Ideally your fluency in Spanish will enable you to better serve our culturally diverse patients Ultimately success in this role will require a high degree of interpersonal competence which includes building effective relationships with all team members and patientsHandle all aspects of fixed and removable prosthodontic dentistry for youth and adultsScope of care to include but not limited to oral exams prophylactic work direct and indirect restorations basic extractions TMD evaluation & managementDesign make or fit prosthodontic appliances such as bridges partials dentures and implant restorations and write fabrication instructionsprescriptions for dental lab techniciansTreat mouth diseases and confer with dentists & physicians regarding medical andor dental problemsExperience and Other Certifications Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry; Possession of valid DDSDMD license to practice in the State of CaliforniaCertificate in prosthodonticsDEA numberBLS for Healthcare providers
