Our mission is to create a positive, welcoming dental experience for children, ensuring they develop lifelong healthy oral hygiene habits. Our services are offered at our state-of-the-art Torrington clinic as well as through our school-based dental programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, patient-centered dental hygiene care in a child-friendly environment.
• Perform cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications.
• Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
• Demonstrate empathy and respect while working with children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient records.
• Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.

• Must be a licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Connecticut.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay up to date on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry.
• Experience working with children is preferred; a passion for pediatric dentistry is a must!
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and reassure young patients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
