Back To Jobs List Dentist Job ID: 287716 Location: Richmond, VA Posted: 2026-04-21 Category: Dentist Specialty: General Dentistry Type: Temporary Apply For This Job Dentist (Locum Tenens) Order ID: 287716 Start: ASAP End: 30+ days (potential extension) Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Openings: 1 Travel/Lodging: Full Position Overview General dentistry coverage in a fast paced, high volume pediatric focused environment Typical volume: 10 to 12 operative patients per day and 20 to 25 hygiene exams Patient mix: approximately 80 to 85 percent ages 3 to 20 Support model: 2 assistants and 1 hygienist per dentist Provider is solo EMR: DentaPro 8 hour guarantee: Yes Required Qualifications Active dental license (state license required) Minimum 2 years of experience (no new grads) Comfortable seeing Medicaid pediatric cases (majority pediatric, some adults) NPI number DEA preferred (and state controlled substance registration if applicable) CPR/BLS (copy required at presentation) Credentialing / Onboarding Items (must be provided) Current CV in month/year format (gaps over 90 days explained) BLS/CPR Dental school diploma State license(s) DEA (if applicable) Controlled substance registration (if applicable) Registration with state prescription monitoring program NPI Hep B (declination available) TB within the last 12 months (declination available) Driver license Social Security card Passport size photo ADA/CAQH account credentials Narrative(s) for any professional liability claims Board orders or sanctions (closed or in process) if applicable How to Apply Email CV to ...
