What You'll Be Doing:

  • As a Dental Assistant at HCC, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental services. Your day may include:
  • Instrument Preparation & Sterilization: Disinfecting instruments and preparing trays to ensure a sterile and organized environment for procedures.
  • Patient Care & Records Management: Prepare patients for dental work, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all treatment information.
  • Laboratory Responsibilities: Take the lead on initial dental lab needs, including pouring and trimming models and creating custom trays.
  • Advanced Imaging & Diagnostics: Take intraoral and panoramic x-rays, as well as assist in diagnostic procedures to provide optimal care.

Job Qualifications and Special Skills include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Dental Assistant training is required.
  • State certified dental x-rays preferred; willing to train.
  • Professional and accurate written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to operate hardware and software.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity.
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
