We’re hiring a DentalHygienist to join our Rutland dental team at Community Health—the largestFederally Qualified Health Center in Vermont. Here, your skills don’t justclean teeth—they build confidence, support underserved families, and helpredefine rural healthcare.As a Dental Hygienist atour state-of-the-art Rutland Dental Clinic, you’ll be a vital member of ourintegrated care team. You’ll work closely with dentists, dental assistants, andprimary care teams to deliver compassionate, comprehensive oral health servicesto patients of all ages. This role is a blend of hands-on hygiene care andimpactful patient education, all in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform prophylaxis, scaling, rootplaning, fluoride treatments, sealants, and health education
- Take digital radiographs and assess oral health in collaboration with dentists
- Deliver patient-centered education on preventive dental care and hygiene strategies
- Provide care to both pediatric and adult populations, adapting education to age and developmental needs
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and multidisciplinary clinical setting
- Participate in mentoring dental assistant students and supporting clinical learning

Compensation:
We offer amarket-competitive and comprehensive compensation package designed to supportyour professional and personal goals.- Salary Range: $83,000–$125,000 annually, based on experience
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus - $7,500 at 1 year anniversary, $7,500 at 2 year anniversary
- Performance-based compensation available

Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current Vermont Dental Hygienist license
- Radiology certification (or eligibility) in the State of Vermont preferred
