As a Dental Hygienist for Community Health Center, you will:
- Provide education and dental hygiene to adults and children
- Work with a flexible schedule (Part Time 35 hrs/week)
- Possess a strong interest in the community health population
- Have a commitment to preventative dental care
- Evaluate overall oral health
- Work in a friendly, team atmosphere
- Other related and relevant tasks or projects may be assigned
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must:
- Be a graduate of an accredited Dental Hygienist program
- Current State of CT licensure
- 2+ years Dental Hygienist experience
- Knowledge of patient screening, charting, and medical history procedures and documentation
- Ability to perform a full range of established dental hygienist protocol and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and techniques
- Ability to set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation
