We specialize in trauma-informed, holistic care thats just as effective in a therapy room as it is during a sound bath or healing justice circle. From civilians navigating lifes toughest moments to law enforcement officers wrestling with the weight of the badgewere here to support healing on both sides of the line.
Our work lives at the intersection of mental health equity, public safety reform, and real community care. Were committed to showing up for marginalized communities impacted by generational trauma, structural violence, and stigma.
The Opportunity: Fully Licensed Clinician / Social Worker
Were calling in heart-led, justice-minded Clinicians to help us expand the reach of our mission. If youre someone who sees therapy as both an art and a responsibilityand who can hold space for others without judgmentwe want to hear from you.
Youll Be Doing Things Like:
Providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
Completing biopsychosocial assessments and writing treatment plans that actually make sense
Weaving in holistic practices like mindfulness, art therapy, and somatic work
Supporting clients in crisis and collaborating with community partners, case managers, and social service heroes
Keeping documentation on point (COMAR and Medicaid wont chase you down)
Showing up for the community at Essential Guidance wellness events like sound baths, healing circles, and whatever we dream up next
What You Bring to the Table:
A Masters in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
Full licensure in Maryland (LCPC or LCSW-C)
A passion for working with justice-involved, trauma-exposed, or marginalized populations
Experience or interest in holistic/creative practices (bonus points for expressive arts, breathwork, or somatics!)
Empathy, presence, cultural humility, and good vibes

Fee-for-service compensation that respects your time and skill ($50k$90k depending on caseload)
Expected hours: Flexible 540 hours/week
A hybrid schedule with options for remote flexibility
