Job Description
A fast-growing transport company is seeking a Flatbed Trainer to lead hands-on training sessions and support daily operations at its Delivery Center. The ideal candidate is an experienced CDL driver with strong communication skills, a safety-first mindset, and a passion for teaching. Communicating effectively, the new hire will contribute to driver readiness and operational efficiency by delivering practical training on flatbed procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols while assisting with equipment inspections and overall yard coordination.
Salary + Additional Benefits:
$50,000-$60,000 + $440.00/ month work allowance

Location: Navasota, TX 77868
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:.
Lead two practical training sessions per day with groups of drivers, covering:
Pre-trip inspection (PTI) of truck and trailer Proper techniques for climbing in and out of the truck.
Correct and incorrect methods of strapping loads.
Tarp positioning and folding.
Load securement using chains and binders.
Provide feedback, corrections, and performance evaluations.
Complete checklists and confirm drivers are road-ready and safe.
Support general Delivery Center activities, including:
Receive and inspect trucks.
Assist in unit deliveries and yard organization.
Perform basic maintenance on training equipment.
Collaborate with the team in a proactive and cooperative manner.
Deliver software and hardware usage training, including Logbook systems Tablets GPS devices.
Requirements:
Valid CDL license (mandatory)
Fluent in English (clear communication with drivers and team)
Physically able to climb, handle tarps, chains, and heavy equipment
Strong ability to teach, correct, and communicate clearly
Reliable, safety-focused, and responsible
Team-oriented and willing to assist in various operational tasks
Patient and clear when explaining concepts
Good physical condition for hands-on tasks (climbing trailers, folding tarps, handling chains)
Punctuality, accountability, and good judgment
Previous flatbed experience
Ability to speak Portuguese or Spanish (Preferred)
