Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose Saint Francis Hosptial and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Patient Representative / Receptionist to join the Community Dental Clinic Team. This position performs a wide range of receptionist duties as initial representative of the Community Dental Center, who prepares and maintains patient records and appointments. What you will do Confirms patient appointments, retrieves and files patient records, prepares and maintains daily schedule, answers and screens heavy volume phone calls Responsible for taking payments, assists in billing and oversees patient reception area. Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are accurate Minimum Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, additional clerical training preferred Minimum one-year clerical experience in a dental office setting Medical terminology skills Position Highlights and Benefits 40 hours per week - Full-Time - Days Great benefits and Health Insurance Coverage- Starting Day One!
