Designer - ceramist dental technician

Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Designer-Ceramist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting dental professionals by fabricating dental prosthetics, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, knowledge of dental anatomy, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, custom abutments, and all-on-X cases, using CAD/CAM technology (3Shape).
• Organize your workflow to meet deadlines, that includes ordering all implant parts necessary.
• Stain and glaze restorations to meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Load and unload milling and 3D printing equipment.
• Clean and process printed materials to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Collaborate with dental professionals to discuss treatment plans and deliver the highest quality of care.
• Stay up to date with advances in dental technology and techniques to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dental technician wit at least 5 years in a dental lab is required.
• Strong knowledge of tooth morphology and occlusion function is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively partner with dentists and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency with dental lab equipment and tools.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC) is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay range is $25-$50 hourly
