Hygenist

Job Summary
Established private practice located in Hartland is looking for a full time, friendly registered hygienist. Must be a team player, experienced with clinical notes, treatment planning, digital x-rays, great with patients and dependable. New graduates welcomed. Dentrix user a plus! Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
• Assess and record patients' medical histories and dental conditions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with dental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Stay current with dental terminology, procedures, and best practices.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is required but we also welcome new graduates.
• Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.

Hours of operation: Monday/Thursday 10:30am to 7:00pm, Tuesday/ Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm
