Clinical Dental / Orthodontic Assistant

Hourly Salary: $19 - $24 per hour (Based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and caring Clinicial Dental or Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. If you're an EFDA or hygienist looking for a new opportunity, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. You will be integral to patient care, providing chairside assistance, educating patients, and supporting the doctor in various procedures. We are willing to train the right candidate in specific aspects of TMJ and sleep disorder treatments, so prior experience in this area is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Assist the doctor with patient care and treatment plans.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for patient use.
• Work hands-on with oral appliances for TMJ and sleep disorders.
• Take digital impressions, dental cone beam scans, and patient photographs.
• Dispense and explain sleep studies to patients.
• Educate patients on their treatment plans and how to use appliances or sleep devices.
• Assist with operatory preparation and patient flow.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years dental assisting experience.
• PA X-ray certification required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of Dentrix practice management software is a plus (not required).
• Ability to learn and adapt to new dental technologies and treatments, particularly in TMJ and sleep disorders.
