Village Family Dental is looking for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our Endodontic team! Position Summary

As an Endodontics Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will support our team of providers throughout all stages of patient care. Your duties will include:

  • Engage and prepare patients for treatment by taking medical histories and performing preliminary checks to ensure patient comfort.
  • Accurately documenting vital signs and services rendered.
  • Assist the endodontist during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient well-being and ensure treatment area is organized.   
  • Taking high-quality digital x-rays.
  • Creating a knowledgeable and compassionate environment for your patients.

Requirements

  • Endodontics experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiar with dental technology, infection control and dental procedures.
  • BLS or CPR Certification

Physical demands

  • Extended periods of standing, sitting, and bending, along with repetitive movements. Handling and manipulating tools, objects, and dental equipment.
