A very busy dental laboratory in Sandy is in need of an entry-level technician.
Job Duties:
? Mixing, pouring, trimming, grinding of molds for veneers, crowns and dentures
Job Requirements:
? High school diploma or GED
? Detailed oriented
? Dependable, strong work history and will come to work on time in an upbeat mood
? Can sit for hours working on molds everyday; okay with repetitive work
The candidate will be successful if they have experience at using small tools, making things with their hands, carving, or having had used small tools in the past.
The average training time is 2-3 months and 6 months to a year before new responsibilities are given. This job is for someone that wants a trade in a specialized industry and is willing to learn and stay on the path. He/she will not be promoted for 3-5 years, but will learn all about this unique industry.
The hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. This is a temp-to-hire position that pays $10.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k. Opportunity for advancement!
