DENTAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Location: New Haven, CT Description: LeoneAmerica, a division of American Tooth Industries, Inc., is looking for an independent contractor to service the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont in the field of orthodontics. Leone has been in dental manufacturing since 1934 and has representation throughout the world. Duties will require selling directly to the end user in the dental market of primarily orthodontic products. Therefore, a dental sales background will be a positive. You will also be expected to telemarket into some of the far reaching areas of your territory in which direct sales is not feasible / sensible. You will be calling on a small base of established customers with the goal of expanding this base by cold-calling. We sell about 4,000 items and invite you to review our web site at: www.americantooth.com. Training will be provided to you along with detail aids and catalogs for your customers. Compensation will be a base draw paid bi-weekly along with a generous commission plan paid monthly. Some, but not all expenses will be covered, as you will be an independent contractor on a 1099.
